Amazing working Manor in heart of England
Served as FOU for British 1st Airborne
University of Evansville (Indiana, USA) owns and operates it.

My son spent a semester of college there. I was fortunate enough to get to go visit him in England and stay at the castle. The experience was amazing.

This venue is truly a hidden gem. Full of wonderful architecture, artwork and the most breathtakingly beautiful views and rooms.
Their whole events team are beyond helpful and welcome you with a wealth of knowledge and experience. This place is as magical as it looks.
I love it ❤️

Even tho you can't go inside, only on special open days, well worth looking round the gardens and seeing the Gothic, Jacobean and Baroque from the outside quite unique check website for opening times

Excellent building and very nice gardens. We'll worth the visit. Rarely open to the public. Garden only open.

Very impressive house. No access though. Bit pricey to see the gardens. Can't really stroll off the beaten track

I was privileged to attend for two quarters back in 1966 as a member of the first Stanford-in-Britain group of 80 students, before it became part of the University of Evansville. Wonderful experience living at the Manor, especially the cordial interactions with local residents. Love the area. I had scheduled a return visit to be there today (7/31/2020), but have had to postpone due to Covid travel restrictions.

I attended Fall of 1980. Awesome experience. I lived with two neat gals from Indiana. We were on the top floor, lots of steps. It’s on my bucket list. I will return to the manor.
